Greeted with a smile, and happily let us practice our poor French until it became too technical. We Loved the central location and vicinity to shops and restaurants (but also, our reason for visit; the Xmas market!) We loved Classic French spiral staircase and art decor furnishings- door handles, windows and woodwork as it added to the holiday feeling! ( There was a lift for those on the top floor...) For me, Hotel room sizes are judged on if I can do a yoga session- it was a squeeze but do able. Perfect for a single working person or couple, like us!

The Check-In process was quick, easy and all the information that was needed was explained. The room was very comfortable and with a very modern ensuite, that really made the stay so much more comfortable. The Hotel is about 200 metres from the main entrance of Lille Railway Station, so its very convenient to walk from the Railway Station if your coming up from Paris. The breakfast was more than adequate, and was very tasty. All up, Saint Maurice Hotel is a great place to stay, as it ticks all the boxes that you want in a smaller privately run Hotel

A fantastic charming hotel in a perfect location. Everything from Westfield shopping centre to typical french boutiques were all within walking distance as well as the train and metro. A stunning view of the church from our clean and comfortable room too. Parking is 2 mins away in a multi storey car park and is only 16euros for 24 hours.

The location was perfect, close to everything interesting and also restaurants and cafes. Staff were very helpful. We parked our bikes in an inner courtyard. The views from the 6th floor over rooftops was great. 5th would be good too. And maybe lower. The room was lovely with large (opening windows). It was very quiet. The sun came in all morning during our stay (early Oct).

Location. Staff always superb. Exceptionally close to the station. Excellent value for money. Great for stay overnight or stopovers.

Great little hotel. Fantastic location, within walking distance of Lille Europe and Lille flanders. Lots of bars and restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Room small but very clean, warm and comfortable. I had a view of the church and the street,which I enjoyed. Wifi good. Breakfast was fresh pastry and coffee etc.

Great location right next to both train stations. Right on the doorstep of great restaurants, shops and parks. Rooms were small but tidy with everything needed for 1/2 nights stay.

Room good size, but lack of drawers, etc. Breakfast very filling, lots of nice bread and variety of other things. Location near train stations and lots of central Lille excellent. Overall would stay there again.

Excellent location within walking distance of both Lille mainline rail station and the Eurostar station. Situated in a very quiet street next to a beautiful church. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typically french and really nice and fresh. The hotel building is a little dated, but I think this adds to its charm. The room was similarly dated, but comfortable and clean.
